Saudi Arabia and Pro-Israel “Peace” Plan Against Palestine

James Petras, a retired professor of Sociology at Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, said that Saudi Arabia is defending US and Israel to stop the Palestinian people to achieve an independent nation.

He believes that Israel tries to deport the Palestinians from territories and weaken their Authority, and the US and Saudi Arabia want to help it take the control of Jerusalem al-Quds. So, the Palestinians would turn into second or third class citizens.

The Palestinian Authority is seeking for a new international mediation mechanism to replace the US because of its bias toward Tel Aviv.

The US president’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, has met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman on his second regional tour to talk about the conflicts between Israel and Palestine.

Following that, Kushner continued his tour in Amman, where he talked with Jordanian King Abdullah II, who had met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak about the so-claimed peace process.

Although the Saudi regime has represented itself as a supporter of the Palestine, reports have revealed that Bin Salman kingdom is backing the US behind the scenes to undermine Palestinians and impose the pro-Israel “peace” plan on them.

It was further reported that the Saudi crown prince had forced the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to accept Kushner’s plan.
