Saudi Arabia and UAE commit heinous massacre in Yemen, having an open green light permission from Trump and his hostile administration. The aggression targets citizens and civil facilities such as hospitals, without concerns, violating all the international humanitarian laws, amid the ongoing siege. This crime has been committed only a few weeks since Yemen’s Ministry of Health received five ambulances from WHO. The ambulances, which were transporting the victims, have been violently destroyed.
Whenever the international organizations or the UN envoy to Yemen achieve a remarkable progress, the aggressive Saudi-led coalition interrupts their peaceful missions. Last week, Yemen’s Ministry of Health’s spokesperson announced that some 55 civilians were murdered and more than 130 wounded, due to the coalition’s assault on a fishing harbor and al-Thawra General Hospital in the city of Al-Hodeidah.
The United Nations has already said that a record 22.2 million Yemenis are in need of food aid, including 8.4 million threatened by acute malnutrition. For more than 2220 days, the magnitude of the coalition’s airstrikes; led by the U.S., the Zionist entity and Saudi Arabia’s petrodollar is intolerable.
The imposed war initially consists of a heavy bombing campaign, but it has been later coupled with a naval blockade and the deployment of mercenaries into Yemeni lands. 600,000 civilians have been murdered so far. The aggression has also demolished many hospitals, schools, and factories.
The United States and the United Kingdom, in particular, are complicit in this imposed war as they exceptionally supply Riyadh with advanced weapons and military equipment, as well as logistical and intelligence assistance. However, the coalition has failed to achieve its alleged objectives; due to the firm resistance mounted by Houthis, the national army and public committees.
For fourth consecutive years, the coalition has been committing heinous crimes, on daily basis, while the international community continues its dubious silence. Unfortunately, The international community entirely ignores the human rights violations, in which it seems to be supporting the Saudi continuous terrorism and oppression. The international community must translate its desire for peace and must come out with a firm decision to lift the siege against Yemen.
The arrogant Crown prince Mohammed bin Salman announced recently that Saudi Arabia would continue its barbaric and brutal aggression on Yemen. On the other hand, The Yemenis, on all fronts, are determined to teach their enemy an unforgettable and to deter its malicious aggression. They are eager to resist the coalition’s aggression for the last breath. They oppose the coalition’s cruel assault that aims at eliminating Yemen’s culture, to occupy its strategic locations and to loot its natural resources.
The humanitarian crisis in Yemen is the worst in the world, according to the U.N. and various organisations as about 75% of all civilians in Yemen depend on the humanitarian assistance through Hodeidah port. Hundreds of thousands of children are on the verge of death because their bodies cannot resist cholera.
Indeed, the outbreak of cholera in Yemen has been caused by the continuous aerial bombardment of water and sanitation facilities. About 8.5 million Yemenis are threatened by starvation and if the war does not stop until the end of this year, 10 million more be added, a crisis caused by the Saudi war that must be stopped as soon as possible.
The Saudi war, which has claimed the lives of thousands of Yemenis as hospitals too suffer from lack of medicines, equipment and medics, which compound the humanitarian crisis in impoverished Yemen. Currently, Yemenis slogan is “Yemen is the aggressors’ graveyard.” History will not repeat itself this time. The hysterical bombardments, by the coalition, of all types of weapons, will never subjugate the courageous Yemenis.
