Trump’s controversial decision to move the Israel’s capital increased the number of casualties over the past two months. On December 6 2017, Donald Trump the president of United States, recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and he declared that he would move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to the holy city.

“I have determined that it is time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” declared Trump. Since then the number of Palestinian victims has severely increased. It also led to large rallies and protests in Palestinian lands and across the world.

There were so many demonstrations and protests against the decision so far. They have been the reason behind so many deaths and casualties. The number of victims in Palestinian territories, Gaza, and Ramallah, has increased to reach a record.

The protest has been lasting even till now after one and a half month. According to Palestinian health officials, a 24-year-old Palestinian man was killed in the occupied West Bank on Monday by Israeli occupation troops.

According to the reports, 18 Palestinians and one Israeli have been killed since Trump’s announcement. United States’ intervention and supports caused so many irreparable sabotages in Jerusalem. UK’s financial and military supports has also fired up the war, which has been condemned by U.N. General Assembly and so many countries.

Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, the Arab League’s Secretary-General, declared that the U.S. decision is “dangerous and unacceptable.” He considered it as a “flagrant attack on a political solution”. It is “against international law and raises questions over American efforts to support peace,” he added.
