UK is the “Enemy of America”- Donald Trump Claims

Following Britain’s disaccord on Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, he considers UK among “enemies of America”. Donald Trump recognizes the UK and the other 100 countries as the “enemies of America” since they resist his decision toward Jerusalem.

In his State of the Union on Tuesday night, he claimed it as US’ “sovereign right” to recognize Jerusalem as Israel‘s capital. He also revealed that he regrets that billions dollars had gone as aid to some of the 128 countries that supported UN in condemning his decision.

He believes that America’s money should “only go to friends of America, not enemies of America”. In his address to Congress, he said that “last month, I also took an action endorsed unanimously by the Senate just months before — I recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.”

“Shortly afterwards, dozens of countries voted in the United Nations General Assembly against America’s sovereign right to make this decision,” he claimed. “That is why, tonight, I am asking the Congress to pass legislation to help ensure American foreign assistance dollars always serve American interests, and only go to friends of America, not enemies of America,” he added.

Feeling betrayed, Trump expressed that US continued to “strengthen friendships around the world”. This is while his decision caused so many innocent people to be killed in Palestine. Moreover, Nikki Haley, the US’ ambassador to UN, threatened the opposing countries that she was “taking names” of the countries that condemned US for the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

“I want you to know the President and the US take this vote personally. The President will be watching this vote carefully and has requested I report back on those who voted against us”, Haley said. This was the first time that US has publicly divulged its resentment toward UK and other opposing countries.
